There are
many definitions that might give someone the title of “hero.” But, I think that
a hero is rather a generic term. Although most people could not argue that
Superman of Batman is not a hero, there is many super people in the world that
go unrecognized. For example, doctors and firemen save lives almost each and
every day. Although they may not have laser vision or super strength, they
still have admirable qualities that save lives. Some qualities that they might
have are courage, compassion and the desire to do good. To have courage on ones
character is worth more than all the gold in the world. It can save lives and
better society as a whole. To have compassion is the ability to understand other’s
wants and needs and balance them with the overall good. The desire to do good
in society is one of those life saving and miraculous qualities. Even if you
have laser vision, who can stop you from doing evil? This is my definition of a
hero.
Conner this is a amazing take on what makes a hero, personally i didnt even think about courage or the desire to do good. I have to admit that you have made me think of who a true hero is.
