Every Life Intersects

As a young  girl, by the name of Tala, sat hidden deep inside a supply hut, she heard the footsteps of several men. Tala became very nervous. She tried to remind herself what her mother had said about how she would be safe in the hut. It seemed to not work, for all she could think about was how unsafe being in the middle of a war could be.
Oblivious to the hidden child, the men began to raid the hut of all useful supplies. Even with the men being unaware of the girl, the men's actions would affect her life completely. The fire that the men would light to burn down the hut would kill her. In return she would affect Eddie, one of the men in the group, as well. He would see her in the fire and try to help, however fail due to being shot. She would cause him to have a limp for the rest of his life from trying to save her. She would cause him to work at the job he hates for the rest of his life so he can protect children. Since he couldn't protect her, protecting children became is lifelong job. She would also cause his death many years later, as a result of him doing his job.
All these things happened without even knowing each other's names. The Five People You Met in Heaven cites, "That there are no random acts. We are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This means that all of our lives intersect and each step we take can have great effect on others without us even knowing.
