We Are All One

I strongly believe in the quote, “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” Many examples could be used to prove this, such as something as simple as an injury, dropping money, or even maybe a compliment. A person could be very passionate about a sport, but almost everyone suffers from an injury doing the sport they love. In fact, the injury could be life changing, and because of this, that person or someone in touch with them may feel the need to help prevent anyone else from going through the same pain. So just because of this injury someone now has a job, and others are being kept safe from most of the dangers of that sport. If you dropped some money, even if it weren’t that much, you would feel as though you were having a horrible day, but say a stranger found that money, maybe they were in desperate need for at least a few bucks. You may have never met this person before but you have just unknowingly gave them your money, and without you they would have never got that extra few dollars. The same would go for a compliment. You may not realize it but a compliment, even to a random stranger, could change their mindset. That person that you had just complimented may have been having second thoughts about life, but maybe your compliment will make them feel worthy to be alive or simply just brighten someone’s day. To you that may have just been a random act of kindness but to them it could have meant everything.
