Nothing in Life is a Coincidence

Everything in life happens for a reason and nothing that goes on from day to day is a coincidence. "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This quote means that everything and everyone in your life has a purpose. It also means that the things you do can affect your life and the people around you's life tremendously without even thinking twice about it. For example, instead of driving the speed limit, you are speeding because you are late to meet your friends at the mall. People speed everyday without even noticing and make it to their destination safely, but the roads are wet and you lose control of your vehicle. This decision does not just affect your way of life but your parents and friends too.
God has your life planned out for you before you are even created, but that does not mean you do not have choices. One choice could change your life very dramatically and a small action can cause a huge ripple affect later on in life. Such as lying about something that is not important and not getting in trouble for it, but then you start lying about things that matter and could cause you to lose people's trust, your job, and even your friends. Even though it started out with a bunch of small things it added up and turned into a big problem. Reading the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven has really given me a whole different perspective of life and how important daily decisions are. It has made me think about the decisions that I have made and also made me realize how even the simplest choices matter.
