Everyone is Connected
The prompt "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind" means that everyone is connected in someway. No one is ever forgotten or not involved in the bigger picture. One example is when Eddie was little he was throwing the baseball with his friends. One of his friends had thrown the ball over his head and Eddie ran out on the street to get the ball. At the time he ran out on the street a car was coming toward him and had to swerve around Eddie. The man inside was The Blue Man who had a bad heart and the adrenaline was pumping his heart crazy which eventually gave him a heart attack. If Eddie had not ran out on the street or had waited a few seconds then the car could've passed and The Blue Man would've lived. Eddie just by walking out in the street killed someone. Even though he did not mean to he had done it. Another example that everyone is connected is the captain had killed himself to save Eddie. This may be an unusual connection but it had happened because the Captain shot Eddie in the leg to prevent him from burning in the fire. The Captain went to go check ahead and got blown up by a mine. Many have sacrificed for Eddie's life. Even he didn't realize it at the time The Blue Man, The Captain, Ruby, Marguerite, and Tala had all risked something for Eddie or had taught him a lesson.
