The Circle of Life

"That there are no random acts.  That we are all connected.  That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." To me this quote means that everything happens for a reason, whether it's good or bad it was meant to happen and it affects others.

Life is a circle of events.  Everyone's thoughts and actions tend to affect others' thoughts and actions.  This is a chain of events that affect some in big ways, some in small ways and some in ways they may never know about.

Thinking back on events in my life makes me hope I make good choices that will impact others in a positive way.  Also, it makes me realize that everything happens for a reason, good or bad, and that some things are out of our control.  We have to realize there are no random acts where we stand alone.  What we think are random acts are actually events that can affect the lives of others.   We never know where people are in their lives and what they need at that moment.   Sometimes a simple hello or nice gesture can turn someone's life around for the better and we may or may not ever know the ripple effect we made on that person.  This ripple effect is what I like to call the circle of life.

The circle of life provides us with life lessons that we all must live by in order to survive together.  Things we do greatly impact each other and therefore, as Rafiki says in "The Lion King", “Ah yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it.”  Hope we all learn from it, Hakuna Matata!
