The Great Reveal

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." To me, this quote means that life is one big chain reaction. Our actions will always effect someone else, whether it is positive or negative. In the novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, the Blue Man says,"It is because the human spirit knows, deep down, that all lives intersect." When reading this quote, it makes me think about my choices and actions in a totally different outlook. There are so many people who's lives I may have changed and I didn't even realize it. With just one of my actions, I could have set in motion a whole chain of reactions. By just simply showing a random act of kindness, I could have helped that person in more ways than I could have imagined. The choices we make will create a path for us in the future. Each new day offers us the opportunity to do something to help make a difference. Life passes by so fast, we never really stop to look at how much we have until it's gone. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that have yet to be put together, but once all the pieces are connected, it will reveal the whole picture.
