The Complex Connection of Life

In our world, one person's actions affect the actions of others. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom demonstrates this in a fantastic way. The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate a breeze from the wind," shows this perfectly. There are no coincidences in life. Everything happens for a reason caused by you, someone you know, or someone you may have never met. One example of this in the story is the blue man's death, caused by Eddie, the main character. During Eddie's birthday party, he throws his new ball to his brother, who does not catch it. While in pursuit of his ball, Eddie runs in front of the blue man's car, causing him to swerve, panic, and die of a heart attack. The blue man died because of Eddie's actions. This further illustrates that all actions are connected. Eddie's own death is an example of this concept. He sacrificed himself to save a girl. Without Eddie, the girl would not have survived the accident. All actions, even if they seem unimportant, affect someone in some way.
