All Lives Connect

I think the quote "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," from the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven, could inspire hope in some people. Some people think of their existence as pointless and meaningless. But this quote lets people know that they aren't alone and that all lives have meaning. It also lets them know that they affect people whether they know it or not. This quote may also encourage people to also be aware of their affect on people. Yes, it is true that we all affect everyone but whether that affect is good or bad is up to you.
In the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven every person Eddie meets in heaven Eddie has affected or has been affected by them during his life. Some of the people he knew very well, some he barley knew, some he never actually met, and some weren't even alive in his lifetime. Even the smallest change in decision from any one of those people could have resulted in a completely different life for Eddie. But somehow their lives intertwined with Eddie's in a way most of them weren't aware of when they were alive. And in some of their lives were many hardships and some were cut short but for a purpose. Although it's comforting to know that in a pointless world we all mean something to each other.
