We Are All Connected

Some things that you do can affect others. All actions have consequences. Everything you do affects someone else. Whether you know it or not you could have done something to hurt or help someone else. In The Five People You Meet In Heaven people suffer by the doings of others.

In the story The Five People You Meet In Heaven a man dies because Eddie ran out in front of him. As it states in the text, “His vehicle rolls until it collides with the rear of a parked car.” He died because Eddie ran in front of the car. If he would have stopped the blue man would have never died. People are connected in the weirdest of ways. Eddie had no idea of what he did to the blue man. No one knows the effects of what they did down the road. Another example is, as it states in the text, “I was the one who shot you,” The captain shot him in the leg not to punish him but to rush him. They needed to get away. Because Eddie took too long the captain shot him. The actions of Eddie caused the captain to shoot him.

“There are no random acts. We are all connected. You can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” This means that everything that happens will affect someone else. If you do something it will affect someone else weather good or bad. People are all connected in the strangest ways. Something as easy as going get a ball could kill another man. There are no random acts. We are all connected.
