Intricately Connected

The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate the breeze from the wind." in the novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven  has multiple meanings and effects our daily lives. What this quote means to me is that every decision we make in life not only has a reaction to ourselves but everyone around us. Most people don't think twice when making easy decisions but little questions can cause major problems.
In the novel there are multiple scenarios where this topic comes to play. Although Eddie had a normal life and didn't think anything of himself he was a life changer to multiple people. When he finds out he killed The Blue Man, Eddie is astonished because he never knew about the accident. "'LISTEN,MISTER,' Eddie rasped, 'I never killed you, OK? I don't even know you'". All Eddie was doing was throwing a ball with his brother and later he finds out he killed a man doing it. It is a crazy thing to think about because all lives are intertwined, no matter the differences. A minute decision can change someone's life forever. It is almost as if it is a chain. All lives are intricately molded together.
