       Everything Happens For A Reason
Everything in life is all connected somehow and everyone is related in some way, shape, or form. In the story, The Five People You Meet in Heaven it states, “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” To me this quote means that everything happens for a reason and that everyone plays a part in someone else’s life. For example, when the Captain shot Eddie in the leg, it was to save his life, and if he didn’t, Eddie would have died. This proves that everything happens for a reason. Everyone that Eddie meets in Heaven has been involved in his life somehow, and affected him in some way.

The five people that Eddie meets in Heaven have all taught him a valuable lesson. But little did he know that each of these lessons pertained to his life. Eddie soon realized that all of these people played a major part in his life and that the strangers you may pass on the street could be someone who can impact your life forever. In the story it says, “Eddie, wearing tawny pants and a wool cap, chases after it, and runs in front of an automobile, a Ford Model A. The car screeches, veers, and just misses him.” This proves that in an instant, anything can happen with anyone, and it can change your life.

Everything that you do plays a part in your life. Whether it be big or small, everything you, or someone else, does all has a reaction in someone’s life. Whatever happens in the end is all part of your path in life and what is planned for you.
