The Mindset People Need To Have

    The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.", means that every action you make does not only influence your life, but it influences the ones around you. For example, in the story,"The Five People You Meet in Heaven", Eddie jumped in front of the car, but did not get hit. Eddie was okay, but the person behind the wheel was so shocked it gave him a heart attack. This little action killed a person. Never just go by one person's point of view because the other side of the story could be completely different. Everybody thinks that just cause you do not personally know someone means you have nothing to do with  them. Every little moment or action can affect the person right beside you or even far away. Another example is when Eddie lit the hut on fire during the war. By lighting it on fire, Eddie and his army friends thought that they were just defending themselves against the war. On the inside of the house, there was a little girl that died because of the fire. Once again, that action killed a person. The friends did not think they did anything wrong because they were fighting for their country. The reality is that everyone need to start thinking," not only will this benefit me, but will it benefit other people as well?" That is the mindset people need to have. Every action in life affects you and the people around you.
