"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," in my opinion I believe this quote makes a connection to all living things by many different ways. As cause and effect, something can not happen unless influenced by one thing causing the other to react in either a positive or negative way. Choices are an excellent form of this; we can not take away the consequences that result from our choices or actions due to the forms of disorder and chaos it would cause. This quote makes a person take the time to reflect on past choices and actions that may have influenced another individual in one way or another. In the book, The Blue Man, also known as Joseph Corvelzchik, says that Eddie and he did not know each other. However, when Eddie decided to go and retrieve the ball, it caused The Blue Man to collide nearly with a truck and die in the process. Neither knew each other, but they were connected by fate the moment Eddie decided to run out into the street.
We are all connected whether it is by blood, fate or God's design. In my imagination, there is a string connected to each of us, and they all connect, this creates an intricate web of different races, ages, religions and more making us all one. The breeze and wind are one they come together never separate. Sometimes it may seem like you get the breeze without wind but it is very faint like the strangers in our lives there, but very faint to our knowledge. In short we are like a game of connecting the dots we may not see the lines but they are there making us all one big image. After my thought process, the quote can describe human interactions with each other and how we can drag others along with us whether we know it or not.

Life's Connection
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This quote means that every action has a reason behind it. That reason could be for a positive purpose, or it could be for a negative purpose.
also every action will effect everyone differently. By saving a child from a burning building a fireman might develop lung cancer. Or if after a soldier defuses a bomb and he gets shot by the enemy admittedly after. This is the way of life one life dies, so another can live. It is true, there are no random acts in this world.
The same examples could be used to help explain how all lives are intertwined, but there are some better ones also. We see and meet everyone that we do, because each of those people we have the opportunity of doing something for them, and they have the opportunity to do something for use. Weather if they decided to harm us or to do us good we are all intertwined for a reason. As King Mufasa said in the Lion King, "When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life." No matter what your purpose in life is it will always be intertwined with the lives of others, for better or for worse. this is life.

We Are All Connected to Each Other
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."This quote from The Five People You Meet in Heaven to me means that there is a balance between life and death among people. For example, today a baby was born, and an elderly woman died. When a new life enters our world, another is taken. It is just a never-ending cycle of life and death. This also means that our everyday actions affect other people's actions. Everything you do can affect another person at any given time, whether that person is a stranger or friend.
For instance, a plane was delayed from take off because the pilot was late. Due to this pilot's actions, the preflight inspection crew determined a malfunction in the main engine. The late pilot's actions saved countless lives. We do not think our actions could determine something as major as saving someone's life, or something as minuscule as holding open the door for someone. You do not realize that every little thing you do can make a major impact on someone else. We do not think about how our actions, however minor they may be, could ever change the course of another person's life. We are all connected to each other somehow, in someway, at one time or another.

The statement "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That are you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." means that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. We often doubt our usefulness and think our lives are a waste of time but this saying nullifies that by pointing out that no matter how small an action we could change some ones life for the better or worse. I also think that this statement is trying to tell us to be careful because we could hurt someone without ever knowing it,but on the other hand if we stay positive and are kind we may help someone who is having trouble. An example of this could be Some coworkers get drunk and one the way home on crashes and is badly injured, this might make him have to take time off work and not receive pay so he starts to have financial trouble. Although he could have gotten drunk and asked another person to take him home because of this he arrives safely and might do a kindness for someone else, but this is only two of the many out comes there could have been and each one could have had different out comes and effect the people around him in different ways. This shows that one mans actions can effect another person, there Is another thing this prove no matter who you are you can make a difference.
Not everyone you meet will effect you though only those that you interact with will effect you,for example if you walk past a stranger and you have no inter action at all what ever they do will not effect you directly but It may effect you indirectly like if they bought the last video game in stock that you had been waiting for months to get. These are things we consider unimportant but our actions influence another's actions as well. Even children can impact people whether they mean to or not,for example if a child crys in the back of a car and the drive turns to check on it in those few seconds they could crash. Honestly I find it impressive that such small and seemingly meaningless actions can cause such a big impact on the world, though I do not enjoy the thought that a simple action of selfishness could hurt another person I would much rather face the consequences of my own actions than give them to another. This is why I believe "the five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom was such an eye opening book, it showed me that i could either live happily and use my life to help others or i could tear them down. I think we should all try and make a difference to change the world for the better or else everyone will suffer.

The Eternal Bind of Human Actions
There are indeed no random acts in this vast world we live in. All lives are intricately connected, though it may not seem this way, it is very true. One decision made by me may have the magnitude to impact many others after me. This major theory makes me live my life caring about what I do, because what I do matters. I might be responsible for somebodies death that I have no knowledge of. With no wrong doings I may have hurt somebody ,emotionally or physically. Without this knowledge, there's no way for me to know if I have unintentionally ended or just impacted another persons life. "That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This quote compares a breeze in the wind to one life to another. It perfectly expresses how all lives are connected, how you cannot separate one life from another because all lives are in unison. Everybody is bound to the eternal connection that affects every person on this Earth. It is always incredible yet terrifying that one mans decision, can easily affect hundreds of men's outcomes.
One Life Matters
"That there are no random acts. That
we are all connected. That you can no more separate a breeze from the
wind."
This quote from The Five People
You Meet in Heaven means everything happens for a reason, and we are
all tied together in some way. Anything someone does, not only affects them,
but it affects everyone around them as well. Everyone has had a big and
small influence on someone's life whether it is a stranger or someone you know
really well. For example, if a relative or friend dies, you miss them so
much that you will likely feel sad and may get depressed. You would do almost
anything for them to come back into your life, so you could have one last
conversation with them.
By us all being connected, we change others whether it is for good or bad. Simple mistakes can affect someone's life greatly. Eddie was only focused on getting his baseball back; therefore he did not see the car that was coming toward him. Since Eddie ran in front of the car, it caused the driver, the Blue Man, to have a heart attack. Eddie never realized that he had such a major impact on the Blue Man's life because he was only worried about getting a simple object back. We need to stop worrying about material objects because they can always be replaced.
Our lives can never be replaced by anything or anyone. When you least expect it, you could have the biggest influence on someone's life because of your choices whether intentional or not. All of us should attempt to put effort in our everyday decisions because it may affect others and yourself. We should always be looking and paying attention for those opportunities to make a positive effect on someone's life.

Everyone is Connected
The phrase; "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." is meaningful in many ways. One way this phrase is meaningful to me is because it reminds me that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, we may never understand why things happen as demonstrated in Mitch Albom's novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Eddie does not understand why he meets the Blue Man at first but later finds out the importance he had in the Blue Man's life.
Everything you do affects the people around you. The person I am today is because of the people in my life such as my family, teachers, and all the people around me that have taught me everything I know today. Many people in my life have taught me lessons I will remember for the rest of my life. Such as in the story when the Blue Man teaches Eddie that we are all connected.
Everyone's lives are connected. We influence each other without even realizing it. We may make a choice that changes someone's life without knowing we did anything. Eddie is a perfect example of this. He had no clue that he caused the Blue Man's death; he had never even met him. We are all affecting each others' lives without knowing.
Everything you do affects the people around you. Eddie is a perfect example of this. He had no clue that he caused the Blue Man's death; he had never even met him. We are all affecting each others' lives without knowing.
Not All Things Are Coincidental
Every day you encounter a human being in your life. Whether it is a stranger you smiled to at the store or giving your mom a hug, you have some type of contact with another living being. All contact that you make with people is not random. You may think it is a coincidence but it is a connection between you and that person, even if they are a stranger. The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," Shows us that this is accurate.
Whenever you feel the urge to smile at a stranger, do you ever wonder why you did it? Maybe you were trying to be nice or maybe you simply wanted to show off your teeth. You didn't think much about that random smile but it set off a chain reaction for that persons day. That one little move of your muscles made the other person smile, which then could have caused them to smile at someone else and the cycle repeats. That random act was connected to that person. As you learn in The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Eddie ran out into the street to get his runaway ball. Because Eddie did this, a character in the book lost his life. That simple act made, caused so much trouble and connected two human beings together. You cannot separate the act because it caused more acts. It was meant to happen, it was meant to be free. The quote above tells us that the most random acts aren't random. They are not coincidental; they are part of a domino effect that triggers a never ending reaction.
Reading this quote instantly reminds me of relationships. Meeting new people causes new relationships to form. From the first introduction of yourself to that person you become connected. You might call your new friend every once in a while to check up on them. Whenever you see something that they post on social media, you like it or comment a witty sentence or two. Because of doing this, your connections grow. The two of you are becoming more difficult to separate. You are becoming connected like roots in soil. The longer you know each other the stronger your relationship grows and you find yourselves having a hard time pulling away. When Eddie meets his true love in The Five People You Meet in Heaven, he becomes instantly attached to the girl. It is as though a rope was tied in a knot around them and it refused to be untangled by the world. Maybe it was fate that they were supposed to meet but it wasn't a coincidence.
Free will is your choice of choosing or doing something. You have the free will to talk to who you want and hangout with who you want. When you look at this quote you might think you have the choice of choosing when to separate yourself from someone and you do. You also have the choice of making the actions that you do. But even if you separate yourself from another person, you still will be connected even if you don't want to be. Hearing a song on the radio or thinking of an inside joke can trigger that connection. There will always be something reminding you of what you used to share with another person. Going to Ruby Pier everyday, reminded Eddie of the connection he had with his dad in The Five People You Meet in Heaven. He didn't necessarily want this connection and he chose to try and break it. Because of the path Eddie's life went down, he was constantly reminded of the choice he made and the outcome of it all. He made that action because he chose to but also because he was meant to.
When you observe the people around you, you will see little acts of interaction between them. You will see them smiling, talking, arguing, etcetera. These actions are the normal everyday things that human beings do. But behind those acts of individuals, there are connections. Connections that bring these individual beings together. There is no randomness, only beings fighting against separation. There is choice intertwined into those everyday things. ''That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This is a way to think of how the world works. Everyone is surrounded by connections that can't be severed. Acts that were meant to flood through each of us and not just around us. Choices that are not coincidental and are determined to shape us.
Eternal Connection
The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," is a very impacting statement. It puts into words the internal relationship that every human being has with each other, even if they have never met. Furthermore, the actions that you perform have the ability to affect someone that you might believe has no connection with you. The cause and affect of our world and the people in it is comparable to a chain reaction. You are affected by someone, causing you to affect someone else. The people you influence will ,in turn, do the same to others; and the synchronicity will continue. An example of this is the first person that you come in contact with each day. If I am amicable and cordial to that one person, it may lead him or her to have a positive attitude that could continue from person to person throughout the day. If I am not pleasant to the first person I see, chances are that person will develop a poor attitude, and the negativity will continue throughout the day. There are no random acts. For example, one day my mom forgot her purse at her job. It held us up from our evening activities as she had to borrow a key to get in the gate of the school where she works. When we entered the gate, we realized there were workers that had been locked inside the gate and had no way of getting out. Had my mom not forgotten her purse that day, the men would have not been able to get out when their work was done. To sum up my thoughts, every event that takes place in our world has a planned outcome. Ultimately, we will never know the reasons behind the events that take place each day, but we must accept the fact that God has a plan for each of us. Even though the plans He has for us appear to be extremely random now, they all have an eternal connection.
Connected Lives
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."
To me this quote means that no matter who you are or what you do, you are connected to everyone around you. It doesn't matter if your best friend or your worst enemy is standing right next to you, the both of you are connected. This quote also means that nothing is an accident. Everything we do is for a reason. God has already planned each and everyone of our lives out for us. All that we have to do is follow his plan and surround our selves with people who will help guide us on the correct path. Because I have surrounded myself with people who have kept me on this path, I have met so many more people who are trying to do the same. Therefore, molding me into the person that I am today.
" ...than you can separate a breeze from the wind." I can infer a lot of things from this section of the quote. One thing that this quote helps me to infer, is that a breeze and a sudden gush of wind can go their opposite ways. However, somehow making their way back to each other at the first place they started. They are two totally different things but, they do have something in common. The one thing that they have in common is that they are both made up of air molecules. These two things remind me of humans. Two or more people may first meet in daycare when they were children. They go to different schools, causing them to never see each other again until their own kids go to the same daycare or school. You see, they met back up at the same place they first met by accident. Which leads me to my next point.
Not all accidents are bad. Even though most of them are. In the novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, one example of a good accident is when Eddie took his dad's job as a maintenance man at Ruby Pier. Eddie saved many lives just by cleaning brakes and testing every ride each night before calling it a day. Many people were very grateful for Eddies job and the work he did to make sure all the rides were safe.
In conclusion, just because you meet someone new, it doesn't mean that it was a coincidence. All meetings have a purpose, they are not random. Nothing in your life is random, but everything ,however, has a purpose.
The Domino Effect of Life
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."
Nothing you do in life is done without affecting another. Even something that is completely meaningless to you could later have a huge impact on somebody else's life. Everything you do could inadvertently help or hurt another. For example, had the Italian sideshow man never come to Ruby Pier, Eddie never would have learned to juggle. He never would have been able to create the diversion that allowed him and three others to escape. The sideshow man never knew it, but because of him, three people's lives were saved.
Like the sideshow man, we never know who we could affect while just doing our daily routine. We never know how our actions can help or harm others, despite our intentions. No life is useless, because every life affects another life. Then, that life goes on to do the same with another life. And the cycle continues for years to come. Every life is like a domino in a long line that just needs a little push.
All Lives are Connected
To begin, the quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life than another than you can separate a breeze from the wind, " means one thing to me. It means everyone in the world is connected somehow. Even if two people live millions of miles away from each other, they're still connected. This can be proven with the quote, "For every action, there is a reaction. " This was shown in the book The Five People You Meet in Heaven. A ball rolled into the road and a little boy ran after it. A car was coming full speed ahead and the driver had to slam on his brakes. Because of this, he had a heart attack. Just one little action caused such a big reaction. Because of this ball, it changed him and his family's lives forever. This illustrates that if one person does one little thing, it can have big affect.
The quote mentions that we're all so connected, that we're like the breeze and the wind. To me, a breeze is different from a wind. Despite the difference, they're both considered air that is constantly moving. This describes people's lives perfectly. It shows that we're all different with different lives constantly changing. Although, we're still just humans trying to live our best lives. This similarity is want brings us together. I believe that is what connects us all.
Telephone Wires
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." To me, this statement means that every person is connected to the next whether through love, actions, or even family. You find that you are connected to everyone just like telephone wires.
When you look at the blue man in '"The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and consider how he died, you realize how one small action can lead to a new one. You do everything for a reason; you forgive to forget, you treat someone nice to be treated the same, you study to achieve, and you love so you're loved. Actions speak louder than words, meaning all of your actions can lead you to another one.
The wires can also represent people. Eddie is in love with Marguerite who represents a telephone pole. Though he never quite told Marguerite, there was an understanding that men do lose themselves at war. Eddie wondered if he would ever be forgiven for his transgressions, especially the person he believed burned in the fire. The connection between the wires and their love was that Marguerite brought Eddie to Tala. Tala then taught Eddie that even though she died, his life did have a purpose. Eddie's purpose was to protect kids on the pier the way he wanted to protect Tala.
I will forever be connected to my parents because they care and love me. There is no way to separate that we will always be connected. We are connected because that is how God made it. God makes everything happen for a reason which is why I'm here today . We only have God to thank because of everything in our lives. Everything he makes happen in the future and what has happened in the past was meaningful in His eyes. One day we will see the meaning on our own, when we meet our five people in heaven.
I will forever be connected to my parents because they care and love me. There is no way to separate that we will always be connected. We are connected because that is how God made it. The Connections of Life
"There are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This means that nothing that happens is a coincidence. Everything that happens happens for a reason. For example, a person who was bullied in the past could be affected forever. They may always be scared that there's something wrong with them, even if the bully meant it as a joke. A more positive example would be a famous person signing an autograph. To the celebrity, that autograph barely means anything. It's just a person's name on a piece of paper. On the other side, the person receiving the autograph is ecstatic. That person has the happiness of knowing that even though their idol probably forgot about them moments later, there were a few seconds dedicated to that one fan. Even someone you've never met could be affected by you. Or, it could be the other way around. There are so many ways that a person's life could change in a matter of minutes. Only, it's difficult to see the change until the person has completely gone through it.

Connecting The World
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another that you can separate a breeze from the wind."
This means to me that everything we do can affect a lot more people than just us What we say or do to one person can affect many more. Even if we have never heard the person's name nor seen their face, we can impact their lives. We may not know it, but that person may remember us forever; or, they may not know that we have affected them. It is true, "there are no random acts," and this connects each and every seven billion of us. Maybe your best friend has a co-worker who has a friend that lives on the other side of the country or world. Somehow, in one way or another, we are connected. Whether we believe in the same God or same rights; whether we happen to find someone's wallet on the ground and return it to them. If we hadn't done that, the person's life may have been changed forever. A simple candy man can make a young girl's day. A teenager's favorite singer making eye-contact or pointing to them can give them hope, make their life. We will always be connected to one another. Different language, different country, different anything; we are associated with one another is some form or fashion. That is what "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another that you can separate a breeze from the wind" means to me.

A Web That Can't Be Broken
When the blue man told Eddie, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," he didn't understand. I do. All of my actions, big or small, affect someone's life. All lives are like a web that can't be broken. I think that the blue man meant that lives impact other lives. If everything I do impacts someone else's life, then shouldn't I put some thought into my actions? The mere act of Eddie grabbing his baseball ended someone's life. Me passing on a rumor about someone could cause them to commit suicide. That should scare me, but it just gives me the determination to be a better person and to make smarter decisions. We don't choose for our lives to be connected. They just are. The connection between human lives cannot be broken. No matter what we do, we will all be connected.

By Chance not Choice
The phrase “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind,” means that everything in life happens for a reason. Everything that happens has a purpose. We are all connected in a way, whether you acknowledge that or not. Everyone has an impact on other’s lives. You could have an impact on a total stranger’s life, but there is a possibility that you may never actually know it. With that being said, I believe that we cannot govern our own lives. I believe that God governs our lives for us. For example, Eddie caused the “Blue Man’s” death by dashing in front of a Ford Model A vehicle that the “Blue Man” had borrowed from his friend. Eddie dashing in front of the vehicle led to the death of the “Blue Man” by causing a series of events, such as veering off roads, swerving in the vehicle, dodging other vehicles, and a fatal wreck. Eddie did not know the “Blue Man”, let alone did he know that he caused the “Blue Man’s” death. The quote “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind,” is very meaningful to me. It makes me realize that our lives may intersect with others in ways we may not know, or in ways that we may not understand. Everything that you do causes something important to happen to someone else. It’s a constant concept around the world. We are all connected by chance, not by choice.

Our Plans
By simply breathing, we affect
people. There is no such thing as a random act. If someone decides to step away
from routine by not walking there dog at a certain time, they could risk not
meeting the person they are supposed to marry, or their life could have been
saved from being hit by a car that ran a red light. Our lives are just little
strands that God has woven into a beautiful tapestry. Each strand is connected
and it is impossible to disconnect them. In the novel The Five People You
Meet in Heaven the main character, Eddie, is killed in an accident at his
job. While in heaven, the blue man from his childhood tells him, “That there
are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate
one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.” While
saying this, the blue man is trying to get Eddie, and readers, to realize that
God has a plan for each and every person that has ever lived and ever will
live.
This quote has made me, as a reader, realize
how thoroughly God has planned out our lives. Many others may be coming to this
conclusion or a similar one. When the Blue Man compered the task of separating
lives to separating breezes from the wind, it clicked for me. I am a Christian,
and I have always heard people say that God has a plan for us. The thought that
the plan was intertwined with other’s never occurred to me. Eddie’s plan
included the Blue Man dying, but, if the Blue Man had not swerved the car and
died, Eddie would have died instead. My plan may involve a car crash or saving
someone’s life; no one but God knows. It is not for any of us to know how and
when things will happen. However, it is our job to take life as it comes and
deal with the distractions and troubles one at a time.
The Interconnectedness of Life
"There are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This quote is very meaningful to me. It shows me that we cannot live our lives for just our selves. Everything we do connects to someone else, even if we do not realize it. Sometimes lives are connected in ways that are complicated to understand. In the novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, the Blue Man says,"...the human spirit knows, deep down, that all lives intersect. That death doesn't just take someone, it misses someone else, and in the small distance between being taken and being missed, lives are changed." When I thought about it, it made me think about life in a whole new perspective. I thought about how everyone's lives affect another persons life. The quote made me consider about the lives that I had changed without even realizing it. Every action creates an effect on something or someone. Some people underestimate the power of something small to potentially turn a life around. No action is random. It is all how it is supposed be. Even if you think something wasn't meaningful, it was. Everyone is connected together by a million little strings.

Fate is a humorous thing. It can be mischievous, but It can also be forgiving at the end. Just like you can have the tremendous days or you can have the worst days. The tricky side is whichever you have, your life depends on it due to it being a basic fundamental of life. Fate is connected to our daily life, it can affect us or maybe someone we know or don't know; as a result that is what the quote from novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom," There are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."
Generally we may analyze fate as a doing that can only affect us in the near future. But fate does not just affect us but it can affect others in the past, present and future just like how Ruby and Emile affected Eddie. Without Ruby meeting her husband Emile and building Ruby Pier, Eddie would most likely have a different childhood and adulthood. This connects with life because historical people have shaped our future and lives with their fate such as Rosa Parks and Susan B Anthony.
Additionally connection doesn't have to be with a person, another form of connections comes from the novel "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. In the poem "Ten Little Indians," there is a connection with the murders of the ten victims that were placed on Solider Island. Each stanza of the poem foreshadowed someone's coming of death, but at the end of the novel it was sort of Vera Claythorne's decision to finish the "design" and decided to finish it since she was greatly affected by it by being obsessed.
Eventually in life we will come to a closure to something or someone that we may not think is important to us but it really is. Nothing is ever accidental is what the Blue Man states if everything was random there would be no purpose of anything that we place effort in. We may think we are all diverted which is true appearance wise but emotionally we all share the same exact emotions that build us up as humans.and that's what I believe the quote means. That connection can also take place in things that interest us such as music or Ryan Gossling. Also, that connection can come through varieties different angles but in the end we are all stringed on an intrigue bumpy road to becoming human.

Unknown Connections
Before reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, I could do nothing but take guesses at how we are all connected. I never truly understood how it is possible. However, after reading this heartfelt novel, I understand it completely. Random acts do not exist, and there is literally a reason for everything that ever has happened and ever will happen. In one way or another, we are all connected because to me, we all come from the same creator, God. No matter what race, age, background, ect. we come from, we are all related.
Two people started the population of Earth and there was no possible way they could reproduce
without us all being related. In the story, Eddie went to Heaven and some of the five most important people
he was sent to meet, he did not even know. This is an example of how people are connected to each other without knowing it. Some connections are more significant than others. Some may even be a matter of life and death. The first lesson Eddie learns is why some people die and other people do not. This lesson happened to be taught by a man he did not know yet caused to be killed in a wreck.

Everything is Connected
Everything is Connected
The quote,” That there are no random
acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from
another than you can separate a breeze from the wind”, means to me, at least
that no matter what decisions you make, they will affect another person because
we are all intertwined. This is shown many times in the book. When the Captain
shot Eddie, it saved Eddie’s life, but it also altered Eddie’s life forever by
ruining his leg. Another example of the interconnectedness of decisions is at
the point when Eddie runs out and grabs the baseball from the street; it cost
the blue man his life. When Eddie took his Dad’s job he inadvertently saved
thousands of lives. Your decisions
affect others directly or indirectly. When the teenagers got drunk and were
dropping bottles off the bridge, they directly affected Eddie’s wife. They also
indirectly affected Eddie himself. We are all connected through our decisions.
However, those were just examples from the book. There are several examples in real life too. In fact, I just recently went to
New Orleans and saw Rob Bell speak about how everything is connected. He spoke
about how since the beginning of time everything and everyone is connected. In
my opinion, it was a very interesting and very true view point. An example of
this interconnectedness can be seen in a group of birds flying in a “V”
formation. One bird decides to turn, and all the other birds would follow
subconsciously. There isn’t a single bird giving directions. They are all, on a fundamental, level connected. This fact is amazing on multiple levels, and shows how deeply connected everything is. If birds can understand each other like this then imagine how deeply humans could be connected or how connected we already are.
