Telephone Wires

    "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." To me, this statement means that every person is connected to the next whether through love, actions, or even family. You find that you are connected to everyone just  like telephone wires.

     When you look at the blue man in '"The Five People You Meet in Heaven" and consider how he died, you realize how one small action can lead to a new one. You do everything for a reason; you forgive to forget, you treat someone nice to be treated the same, you study to achieve, and you love so you're loved. Actions speak louder than words, meaning all of your actions can lead you to another one.

      The wires can also represent people. Eddie is in love with Marguerite who represents a telephone pole. Though he never quite told Marguerite, there was an understanding that men do lose themselves at war. Eddie wondered if he would ever be forgiven for his transgressions, especially the person he believed burned in the fire. The connection between the wires and their love was that Marguerite brought Eddie to Tala. Tala then taught Eddie that even though she died, his life did have a purpose. Eddie's purpose was to protect kids on the pier the way he wanted to protect Tala.
I will forever be connected to my parents because they care and love me. There is no way to separate that we will always be connected. We are connected because that is how God made it. God makes everything happen for a reason which is why I'm here today . We only have God to thank because of everything in our lives. Everything he makes happen in the future and what has happened in the past was meaningful in His eyes. One day we will see the meaning on our own, when we meet our five people in heaven.
