Jigsaw Puzzle

In our lifetime, we are inevitably bound to do something that effects a perfect stranger. "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." This quote as stated by the Blue Man in Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven depicts that we are all conjoined in one way or another like jigsaw puzzle pieces. Take for example when Eddie's military regime burned the hut that Tala happened to be in and burned her. This heinous, yet accidental act affected Tala without Eddie intentionally meaning to hurt anyone. Especially an innocent child. Another example of the quote by the Blue Man could be when Eddie met Ruby and discovered she was the one that Ruby Pier was named after. Without Ruby and her husband's building of the pier, Eddie's father never would've had a job, and majorly effecting Eddie's father and future generations to come. Therefore Ruby and her husband's actions connected many people and effected many lives. In conclusion, the Blue Man's quote means to me that every being is connected, whether it for a known or unknown reason.
