Eternal Connection
The quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," is a very impacting statement. It puts into words the internal relationship that every human being has with each other, even if they have never met. Furthermore, the actions that you perform have the ability to affect someone that you might believe has no connection with you. The cause and affect of our world and the people in it is comparable to a chain reaction. You are affected by someone, causing you to affect someone else. The people you influence will ,in turn, do the same to others; and the synchronicity will continue. An example of this is the first person that you come in contact with each day. If I am amicable and cordial to that one person, it may lead him or her to have a positive attitude that could continue from person to person throughout the day. If I am not pleasant to the first person I see, chances are that person will develop a poor attitude, and the negativity will continue throughout the day. There are no random acts. For example, one day my mom forgot her purse at her job. It held us up from our evening activities as she had to borrow a key to get in the gate of the school where she works. When we entered the gate, we realized there were workers that had been locked inside the gate and had no way of getting out. Had my mom not forgotten her purse that day, the men would have not been able to get out when their work was done. To sum up my thoughts, every event that takes place in our world has a planned outcome. Ultimately, we will never know the reasons behind the events that take place each day, but we must accept the fact that God has a plan for each of us. Even though the plans He has for us appear to be extremely random now, they all have an eternal connection.
