The Cause and Effect of Life
I do truly believe that we all are connected, that we really do affect one another by our actions. Like the way your mom teaches you how to act in public, that's how you will teach your kids and how other people will be affected by the manners they have. The people in my life affect the way I think and the way I would do something because I learned how to do certain things from them. They learned how to do those things from people in their life too, so that's just one example of how it's one big chain in this world. The quote from the book, has probably been explained many times in many ways. It all comes down to the one reason the Blue Man told Eddie this; he wanted to show how even though he never met the man, he changed his life by running in the street, in front of the Blue Man's car. This moment altered his life forever. "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." Later after he tells Eddie this he shows how Eddie came to his funeral, even if he didn't know him. The Blue Man tells him deep down inside the human mind knows that lives intersect, how we need to grieve together. This quote to me is just another explanation for the way people see the world and how it works.
