The ripple effect

I believe the statement, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." A quote stated by the Blue Man from the novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven to me, means that everything happens for a reason. The cause and effect of what happens is connected to everyone an not just you. You cannot separate what happens from someone, fate is fate. That if we all do one random act of kindness daily, we just might set the world in the right direction. Life is full of connections.
A ripple effect, so to say, a homeless man asks you for change at a stop. You gave that homeless man the change you had. Someone may have seen you give that man some change. Later in the day, whether or not they were thinking about it or not that act of kindness could have motivated them to do the same. Maybe they bought the person behind them in Starbucks a cup of coffee for no reason. Or maybe they stopped off at the florist and bought a loved one some flowers just because. And because that person could have been motivated to do those things for others just because also helps businesses inrich. It helps the business grow and enables people to be paid for their service so they are able to take care of themselves and loved ones.
Little do we now it but those acts of kindness resonates throughout the lives of many. In some way all our lives are intertwined and we are all dependant on one another. For that reason no one goes through life alone because our lives are all connected.
