One Life Matters

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate a breeze from the wind."

This quote from The Five People You Meet in Heaven means everything happens for a reason, and we are all tied together in some way. Anything someone does, not only affects them, but it affects everyone around them as well. Everyone has had a big and small influence on someone's life whether it is a stranger or someone you know really well. For example, if a relative or friend dies, you miss them so much that you will likely feel sad and may get depressed. You would do almost anything for them to come back into your life, so you could have one last conversation with them.
By us all being connected, we change others whether it is for good or bad. Simple mistakes can affect someone's life greatly. Eddie was only focused on getting his baseball back; therefore he did not see the car that was coming toward him. Since Eddie ran in front of the car, it caused the driver, the Blue Man, to have a heart attack. Eddie never realized that he had such a major impact on the Blue Man's life because he was only worried about getting a simple object back. We need to stop worrying about material objects because they can always be replaced.
Our lives can never be replaced by anything or anyone. When you least expect it, you could have the biggest influence on someone's life because of your choices whether intentional or not. All of us should attempt to put effort in our everyday decisions because it may affect others and yourself. We should always be looking and paying attention for those opportunities to make a positive effect on someone's life.
