The
quote "That
there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more
separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the
wind," was written to give to readers to create mystery and small talk
between readers. The
quote does not just have one simple meaning. It can be interpreted many
different ways. Some may say it means people are like the wind. Others may even
disagree with what the quote demonstrates. Honestly to me the quote means that whatever decisions you make today not only
affect your future but other people's lives too.
When
you say you cannot separate one life from another the first thing I thought of
was why you can’t you? We are different people, but then I thought about it,
there is more to the quote than what you read at first at glance. With
deeper reading and thinking I concluded to me the quote means that decisions
affect everyone even if you do not know them. For
example the way Eddie affected the blue man is the same way a CEO of a large
business affects a newly graduated eighteen year old getting a new job at the
CEO’s business. Even
though they may never meet each other, they are changing each other’s lives. People today do not realize that what they do
does not affect only them, but it also affects the people they care about lives’
as well.
