Chain Reactions

“That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.”  To me this qoute means that everything you do affects someone, something, or an event that has or will happen. I believe that all our actions are not coincidental, but made to happen that way. Our decisions in life are chain reactions. We do something, and that something leads to another, and another. Many of our decisions affect the rest of our lives, such as school. You can work hard, excell, go to college, get a good job, and live a comfortable life. On the other hand you can blow off school, drop out of high school, work low income jobs, and always have a hard life. Many decisions in life are like these, and can be negative or positive toward you and people around you, affecting many.
A simple decision can kill somebody or save somebody. In the novel, Eddie runs after his baseball into the street where the Blue Man swerves to avoid hitting him. The Blue Man then has a heart attack and dies. The Blue Man made a simple decision that killed him, but saved Eddie. These decisions are made everyday and can affect you without even knowing it.
