                                                        NO  RANDOM ACTS

In the novel, "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" the first person Eddie meets, the Blue Man, states this; "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another and you can a breeze from the wind." This quote was a part of the Blue Man's lesson to Eddie, because Eddie was connected to the Blue Man's death, but Eddie had no idea. If Eddie's ball would not have rolled into the street, the Blue Man would not have had to swerve, trying not to hit Eddie, as Eddie goes to retrieve his ball; and there would have been no car accident. This quote is simply meaning that there is a purpose and meaning for everything that happens. In some way every action you do or take you are impacting someone else's life by it. When Eddie impacted the Blue Man's life by a car accident, they had no idea of who each other at were; sometimes life just happens like that. Eddie did not intentionally try to make the Blue Man swerve and lose control, it was something he could not prevent because it was planned to happen. I believe that from the second we are born, our whole life is set out for us with exactly what we are going to do and what decisions we are going to make. Although it is set out for us, I also believe that we have the power to change it, as we move through life. Life is like a novel. You are the author and every day is a new page. Every day you are given the power to make your own choices and do what you want with your life. With every choice you make, comes consequences, and they may not only concern you.
