The Random and Connecting

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind"
In life, we tend to do deeds we believe are random, some of this is to total strangers, and then we go on with our lives believing it had no effect. As this quote states, nothing we do is random and it can have an effect on a person or place that can change their life in a positive or negative way. This, in a way, is like the butterfly effect; it's when a small act can ultimately cause a large ripple effect and can change everything and it shows how we are connected in a way. Whether this act was intended or not, that doesn't really matter. We are not able to separate our life from someone else's life because we all effect the others life as much as they effect our own. It's like a gigantic web of humans, as creepy as that sounds, and that we each have a line connecting us to everyone else in the web. When we give money to a homeless man or hug someone whose family member has just died, we are able to positively impact their life in a way so subtle we might not realize it at that moment. As we can impact another's live positively we can also effect their life negatively, such as when you bully someone. As we do these acts, we tend to find some of the deeds we do as accidental but really it is like that saying "Everything happens for a reason."  This reason may be unknown but the saying is true; everything that has happened was meant to happen. I like to think this is a game of dominoes and that the first domino was meant to fall, then the rest were connected to that first falling domino in a line or curve behind the first , and that everything fell with the purpose of it happening. We are all connected in some way and have effects on one another and all the impact we have are always meant to happen whether we understand the reason behind it or not.
