Connected

"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," tells me that everything done in life happens for a specific reason. It could harm someone, or it could help someone, but everything still has a purpose. It also means that everything we do affects people around us. For instance, say someone in a family wants to drink a glass of milk. They notice the milk is spoiled, and instead of disposing of the spoiled milk, they just leave it in the fridge. A little sibling comes in and drinks the spoiled milk that was left in the fridge. The little sibling becomes terribly sick. The family members did not have bad intentions, but the result was still bad. An example of everything happening for a reason is something that actually happened to my grandfather. He sold his car, and was searching for a truck. He found one that he really liked. He planned on going to the dealership a few days later and buying it. He got to the dealership and the truck was gone. He was upset about it, because he had really wanted the specific truck. He ended up finding a newer and better truck a week later. This happened for a reason. The other truck was sold, in order for him to find a better truck. Everything in life happens for a reason, and everything is connected in some way.
