We Affect Each Other
What does the quote, "That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind," mean to you? To me it means several things. One thing is that all of our actions affect people. When you hold the door open for an elderly person or when you bully someone. As you do those actions you are a role model to others. If someone saw you helping an elderly person then they might be more encouraged to do something nice for someone. On the other hand, someone might have witnessed a kid being bullied and thought that he should bully someone too. Another thing the quote means is that everyone is equal as a whole. The quote states, "That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind." Basically, the quote is stating that you can't separate an unpopular boy from a popular boy because they are both human beings. To sum up the quote, to me, means that your actions affect people and that everyone is equal as a whole. So remember next time you see someone struggling to help them because it can affect others.
